Hello 2021! Goodbye 2020!
New Me - NO, not really but on of my top intentions is to BE MORE WHO I TRULY AM!
So, yes I am committing to be more self connected, more self aware, more present, more honest with myself, and more self compassionate. I am intending to be less self judgemental and critical so I can embrace all of who I’m even my shadows, my darkness so my gifts, my light can shine even more.
I am setting goals that align to this intention of ‘Being more ME’. Goals that are aligned to who I really am. So in the next few days of this New Year I will set the goals that are a reflection of this intention and affirmation.
I INVITE YOU DO THE SAME. The world needs more of us who commit to being more who they truly are, more of us who live from the space of the heart and soul!
Whilst I welcome the ‘new’ at my doorstep, I also wave goodbye to 2020. A goodbye with a sense of acceptance of what it has brought me, the challenges, the opportunities, the lessons, and also the achievements. For most of us 2020, has been challenging like we could have never imagined. A year of losses on various levels. Personally, I have been through challenges in different areas of my life. I felt at points I have been at the bottom (nothing relating to the current world situation). Through the difficulties, I have seen my own darkness straight in my face My own darkness, my shadows have taught me a lot. My shadow’s have shown me so much about my own gifts, my own needs. My own needs and gifts that sometimes I deny or hide have highlighted my darkness, the things I do not like about myself. So, this was one of my biggest takeaways for the year when I deny my needs, or hide my gifts (for fear of not being accepted / ridiculed) I create so much pain and suffering for me. My own darkness has brought more self awareness, self understanding, and self care practices in my life like never before. I have realised more than ever the importance of having boundaries, asserting my needs, protecting my energy, and being honest with myself and others around me, and of course what is truly important for me.
Yes, I thank you and honour 2020. I let you go but I surely remember you as a great life teacher. 2021, we do not know what you store but I welcome you with my intentions, affirmations, goals, more clarity and awareness, and of course HOPE!
So, as we are at the beginning of this year, I invite you take time for self reflection from a space of gratitude, self compassion. Take time to let go of 2020, reflecting on the lessons learned, the achievements how you have grown so that you can make 2021 a more positive year for you and your loved ones! Create your intentions, affirmations and goals from the space of self reflection, space of awareness!
Wishing you all a Happy Healthy Prosperous 2021!
