I didn't hire a videographer.
I didn't spend hours editing.
I didn't write a script.
AI did it for me — in minutes.
I'm a service-based business owner who used to spend HOURS on content, emails, and admin tasks every single week.
Then I discovered AI tools… and everything changed.
✅ More time back in my day
✅ More revenue without more hustle
✅ A business that runs smarter, not harder
Now I teach businesswomen exactly how to do the same — no tech background needed #ai #marketing #ads

May is Mental Health Awareness Month—so we’re talking healing, honesty, and starting over.
🎬🎥 This Friday, May 23rd, tune in to a powerful new episode of Dishin’it on ABC with Jen & Rico—as we serve up golden cod fritters, savory arroz con gandules, and a deeply personal conversation about escaping a religious cult, reclaiming your voice, and the messy, beautiful path to mental freedom.
It’s real. It’s raw. And it’s a dish you’ll never forget.
💬 Drop “cod fritters” in the comments if you want the recipe!

Yep, It's me! Your hostess with the Mostest, starting the week serving elegance, joy and premium vibes.
As an event host working across both weekday and weekend celebrations, I’ve noticed a growing shift toward midweek weddings. Monday and midweek weddings are definitely on the rise, and honestly, I think it’s a smart shift.
From my experience having hosted a couple of these weddings, here are few reasons why couples are choosing them more often:
-1) Major cost savings.
Let's face it, midweek weddings are usually much cheaper.
You often get lower venue hire fees, better vendor rates and more room to negotiate packages.
- 2) Better Vendor Availability
Weekend dates book out fast, sometimes 18–24 months ahead.
Midweek gives couples opportunity to hire premium venues that would otherwise be unavailable if they wanted the wedding on a weekend.
Couples can also access to their preferred vendors; first choice caterers. decorators, photographers, MC (Lady Shabach 😊).
- 3) Guest List Is More Intentional
Midweek weddings naturally filter the guest list. I think this is more favourable to couples and not their parents and/families, especially those who want a big wedding (Most African parents are on this table 😉 ). I have had to serve as a referee between parents and young couples when cutting down the guest list.
Modern couples are tending towards fewer “obligatory” family and more genuinely present friends and loved ones. They want quality over crowd size.
-4) Changing Work Culture
Post-2020 especially, guests are now more willing to attend weekday events than before as a result of more remote work and flexible schedules.
And honestly? Some of the most beautiful, well-organised weddings I’ve hosted have been midweek, as you get better guest engagement.
This Monday’s celebration was at the beautiful grounds of the Braxted Park Estate in Chelmsford, hosting my lovely Dani & Jordan ♥️ .
So if you’re planning one… your Hostess with the Mostest is ready.
Weekday or weekend — we bring the magic. 😉 🎤.
I'm curious....If you were planning a wedding today;
a) Would you consider a midweek wedding ?
b) Stick to the traditional weekend celebration?
